This website contains information and images of the African-American schools that existed until 1966 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, before desegregation. Included on the site are Lincoln High School, the Orange County Training School, and Northside Elementary School.
Also included on the site are recent images of Lincoln High School Alumni and the 2007 Lincoln High School Reunion.
We are currently seeking contributors, both for oral interviews and historic photos, for posting on the website. Please contact us if you would like to participate and share your history.
